Our website features an AI-powered chat assistant to help answer your questions. When you use the chat feature:

• Chat conversations are stored and associated with a unique session ID
• Contact information provided in chat will be saved for follow-up
• Chat transcripts may be reviewed for quality assurance
• You can request deletion of your chat history by contacting us

We use two kinds of analytics to understand how visitors use our site (such as page views, form interactions, and traffic sources):

• First-party analytics collected and stored by us, used solely to improve our service. These do not track you across other websites.
• Google Analytics 4, a third-party service provided by Google. Google may process usage data under its own privacy policy. We use it only to measure our own site's traffic and advertising effectiveness.

We honor the "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals: when either is enabled, both our first-party analytics and Google Analytics are disabled for your visit. Disabling analytics will not affect your ability to request a quote or receive service from us.

By providing your mobile number through our quote form, chat assistant, or any other contact channel, you consent to receive transactional text messages from Mr. Backsplash about your project — including quote confirmations, appointment reminders, scheduling changes, and project status updates.

• Message frequency varies based on the status of your project.
• Message and data rates may apply (charged by your mobile carrier).
• Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time.
• Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at info@mrbacksplashtile.com.
• Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase and may be withdrawn at any time without affecting your ability to receive a quote or service.

We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile numbers are shared only with our SMS delivery provider for the sole purpose of sending the messages described above.

You have the right to:

• Access, update, or delete your personal information
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time
• Withdraw consent for data processing where applicable
• Request deletion of your chat conversation history
• File a complaint with regulatory authorities

State privacy laws: Residents of Connecticut and certain other states have specific rights under state privacy laws such as the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, including the rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising. We honor these requests for all our customers regardless of whether a particular statute technically applies to our business, and we recognize the Global Privacy Control browser signal as a valid opt-out (see Section 7). We do not sell personal data.

Our services are directed to homeowners and are not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will provide notice on this website before the changes take effect. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

When you participate in our referral program:

• Referral data is stored securely and used only for program administration
